To launch Clutch.ca’s partnership with NBA Canada, we created an interactive "Clutch Shot" challenge, giving fans a chance to win exclusive NBA prizes. 

In late 2023, The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Clutch, Canada’s largest online used car retailer, announced a new multi-year marketing partnership, making Clutch the official online car retailer of the NBA in Canada. We had the opportunity to bring this collaboration to life.

 

The campaign kicked off with an interactive fan event in downtown Toronto in which we transformed one of the iconic red Clutch flatbed trucks into a portable basketball court, allowing fans to take a 'Clutch shot' and win prizes, including NBAStore.ca gift cards and co-branded basketballs.

Throughout the 2023-24 NBA season, we engaged fans through nationwide contests, including opportunities to win trips to the 2024 NBA All-Star in Indianapolis and 2024 NBA Finals, as well as digital programs featuring original content across NBA Canada and Clutch’s social media channels. 

​

This high-energy activation connected basketball fans with the brand in a memorable way—proving the power of experiential marketing in driving engagement and brand awareness.
