EXPERIENTIAL/SOCIAL

The first-ever WNBA exhibition game was finally coming to Canada, although a “home team” wasn’t playing. We gave fans and Torontonians the opportunity to leave their mark on a historic moment.

Women’s basketball is growing, but in Canada, we are still without a professional team. The NBA and WNBA know there is a fan base here and want to showcase female professional sports at the same level as the male teams. It was important to them to celebrate the game in the same way to really champion these skilled and amazing athletes.

For the first time in WNBA history, we turned the iconic logo into a 3D figure. Weighing over 800 pounds, the 12-foot tall statue travelled around Toronto for one week, from the Stack Market to the CN Tower and places in between, inviting Torontonians young and old to experience her, sign her, and be forever a part of this historic moment.
