In a market saturated with holiday promotions and holiday clichés we needed to break through. We used magic. Introducing The Magical Holiday Deal.
We developed a fun pizza-themed visual language that was socially on trend and quirky. Ranging from a magical unicorn with a pizza horn to a gingerbread man riding a dolphin in a sea of pizza.
The campaign began with a simple offer – buy two pizzas and receive a free Magical Holiday shirt. It was supported by TV, social and a redesigned pizza box.

The brand achieved the highest brand engagement scores for the year.
The Magical Holiday program became one of Pizza Pizza’s most successful campaigns, resulting in the highest brand engagement scores for the year. A lot of pizzas were ordered, all the shirts sold out and sentiment was high.
But most importantly the Magical Holiday attracted a new group of brand fans while becoming a part of the cultural conversation again.
